Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, our friendly driver will welcome you with a name board and a refreshing drink. After clearing immigration and collecting your luggage, we begin the scenic drive to Kandy (approximately 3.5 hours).
Enjoy the beautiful changing landscapes as you travel from the coastal area into the hills. In the evening, check into your comfortable hotel in Kandy. Relax after your long flight and enjoy a good night’s sleep.

After breakfast, we explore the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. Start with the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most important Buddhist sites in the world. Feel the peaceful atmosphere and watch traditional rituals.
Next, visit the stunning Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya with its beautiful orchid collection, giant trees, and colorful flower beds. Enjoy scenic views of Kandy Lake and the city view point. In the afternoon, see the giant Bahirawakanda Buddha Statue, a Wood Carving Factory, Batik Factory, Gem Museum, and a Tea Factory where you can taste fresh Ceylon tea. In the evening, you can optionally watch a colorful Kandyan Dance Show.

After breakfast, we drive through the misty mountains to Nuwara Eliya. Stop at a beautiful Tea Plantation and Factory where you will learn how Ceylon Tea is produced and enjoy fresh tea tasting
Continue to the impressive Ramboda Waterfall for wonderful photos. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya – “Little England” – and enjoy the cool climate, colonial buildings, Gregory Lake, historic Post Office, and Race Course.

After breakfast, we drive to the beautiful town of Ella. On the way, visit the sacred Sitha Amman Temple. In Ella, you will have time to relax and explore the charming town. In the afternoon, enjoy a short walk to the famous Nine Arch Bridge – a masterpiece of colonial engineering surrounded by lush green hills. If time permits, you can also visit Little Adam’s Peak for stunning views.
Enjoy a scenic drive from the hills down to the golden beaches of the south coast. Stop for beautiful views along the way. Arrive at Mirissa in the afternoon. Relax on the soft sandy beach, swim in the clear turquoise ocean, or enjoy fresh seafood at beachside restaurants.

Today is mostly free for you to enjoy the beautiful beach. You can relax by the pool, walk along the beach, or join an optional early morning Whale Watching Boat Trip (one of the best places in the world to see blue whales and dolphins – extra cost). In the evening, enjoy the famous Mirissa sunset.

After breakfast, drive along the beautiful coastal road to Colombo. Stop at the historic Galle Dutch Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site) – a charming old town with colonial buildings, shops, and cafes. Continue to Colombo and enjoy a city tour including Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, and a short visit to vibrant markets.
