Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, our friendly representative will welcome you with a name board and a refreshing welcome drink. After collecting your luggage, we begin the scenic drive to Kandy (approximately 3.5 to 4 hours).
Enjoy the beautiful views as you travel from the coastal area into the green hills. On the way, we can make a short stop at a Spice & Herbal Garden to learn about Sri Lanka’s famous spices and enjoy fresh herbal tea.
In the afternoon, we start exploring the beautiful city of Kandy. Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most important Buddhist sites in the world. Feel the peaceful spiritual atmosphere inside this historic temple.
Later, enjoy a relaxing walk around the lovely Kandy Lake, built by the last king of Kandy. From the city view point, you can take beautiful photos of the entire city surrounded by green hills.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we continue exploring Kandy. Visit the stunning Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. This 147-acre garden is famous for its beautiful orchid collection, giant palm trees, colorful flower beds, and peaceful walking paths. It is one of the most relaxing and photogenic places in Sri Lanka.
In the afternoon, we drive towards Sigiriya through scenic countryside. On the way, we visit the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Climb the gentle stairs to explore five ancient caves filled with hundreds of Buddha statues and amazing colorful wall paintings that are over 2,000 years old. The views from the top are wonderful.
In the evening, check into your hotel in the Sigiriya / Habarana area. Relax by the pool or enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

After breakfast, we visit the highlight of the tour – the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site). This dramatic 200-meter-high rock rises majestically from the jungle plains.
Climb the iron staircases, admire the famous Sigiriya Frescoes (beautiful ancient paintings of heavenly maidens), walk along the Mirror Wall, and reach the summit. At the top, explore the ruins of the ancient palace and enjoy breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding jungle, lakes, and mountains. Sigiriya is truly one of the most impressive ancient wonders you will ever see.
After the visit and lunch (at your own cost), we begin the comfortable drive back towards Colombo or the Airport (approximately 3.5 hours).
